It’s Thursday. Time for Ring Porn! God Bless America Edition

Greetings and welcome back
Last week we traversed the Ring in a real light weight track car. The Caterham Super Light Weight R300. At 175 bhp in an astounding 1200 pounds empty weight, this was one really fast in the corners but seemed a bit under geared for the straights.
This week, in honor of the 235th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence, we are celebrating Good Old American steel and grunt.
In 1964 most American cars were not svelte. There were some exceptions but, by and large, they were beautiful in a rubenesque way. But, like most rubenesque women, that does not mean they are not fun. This week’s model is no different.
Team Classic River is out of Hamburg Germany. They race in the GTP class of some European circuit league. “NO big deal” you say. “Allot of the damned YURUPEANS race in them damned races. Ain’t nuthin Mericun in that!”
Well, on the surface it may seem your right but when they pull up in this:

Team Classic Driver RennTransporter
were talking another whole ballgame…
Team Classic Diver does the circuit with a 1964 Holman Moody Fairlane 500. A Holman Moody reproduction of the original “stock car for the street”, it is a 2500lb 495 hp killer. And a winner to boot. All 427 side oiler cubic inch, top loader 4 speed, ground pounding of it.
Be sure to turn the sound up…
See You Next Week
